Lifestyle and sleeping habits

Lifestyle and sleeping habits also have an influence when it comes to night sweats. Physical exercise just before you go to bed, sleeping in a hot bedroom, poor ventilation and consuming spicy food or certain sorts of drinks, such as coffee and alcohol, are all examples of external factors that can lead to night sweats.

 

It is important to consult a doctor if the problems last. In addition, there are several things that you can do yourself to reduce the effects and improve your sleep quality.
